A story of the excitement YOU FELT during giving care

let’s begin with an anecdote
we were sitting in casualty, seeing our cases then suddenly CMO on duty came called one of us to see the patient,
he was literally a bad patient, my friend who attended it called for help , we as a team of on duty surgery resident and interns went to attend the patient, he was a 40yrs old male brought by someone with a/h/o RTA and his GC was poor , GCS was E1V1M3 on presentation, b/l pupil were dilated not reactive to light. has h/o ENT bleed , h/o LOC…
his pulse was in lower side , saturation were dropping, we intubated him with help of our anesthesia friend , we kept suction ready. as he was a RTA patient, Foleys done , 2 intracath done , fast fluid given.
and then shifted to SICU
all this event happened yesterday and i was happy that we were able to manage this patient on time and did not happened him to died with aspiration pneumonitis.
it was an eventful day… and it’s an event for us too…
life is so unpredictable…
